Two Malayan tiger cubs were born at the Virginia Zoo in January 2016. These babies are not just ambassadors for their species, of which only about 500 remain in the wild. They also are a precious genetic reserve for the captive population in North America. They are so adorably bowled over by everything they see! I imagined this cub surprised by something new while mouthing a stick in the Malayan forest.
